'The Dreamland Series' Introduction

< The Dreamland Series Introduction >

You do not know when you dream.

It is after the dream that you realise that you were dreaming.

How was your dream?

Have you woken?

How was it?

A dream. Daydream is something that one wishes to happen to oneself. Or, totally different. Something that one has sighted or had experienced before. All these, we can say it is a childish dream. It is a childish dream because all these dreams, experienced or not, are imageries in our heads while we have something to do in front of us. Why are we not paying attention to what is happening in front of us? Atlas, our foolish, childish daydreams are innocent. The daydreams are made of essences which we already hold or wish to behold and possess. It is like looking into a soul. A longing, forever crave and grasp for a desire of a desire. All these dreams can be perceived during boring school class, workplace, leisure holiday, vacation, in front of food that is not so appetising(Did you just come across unsalted Brussels sprout roast?), etc. Any occasion that may be quite stressful.

These Daydreams are like another different world of ours. A bubble. One of our own little foolish, childish bubble. Although it may be sugar-coated, we still love it. Our dreams, our foolish dreams, they are an extravagant escape from the stressful encounter in front of us. Why not dream? We are all a dream. Made up within a world of dreams.

I love dreams. How about you?
